Participating Advertisers
($5/mo for 1 ad per day...)
COST TO ADVERTISE
Participating Advertisers pay $5 per month for the number of ads they want to post per day. In other words, a Participating Advertiser that wants to run 1 ad per day on EDN would pay $5 per month. As another example, a Participating Advertiser that wants to run 5 ads per day would pay $25 per month. You can choose the level of advertising you want to do on EDN.
Payment for advertising is via Paypal. Click the DROPDOWN ARROW below to select the number of ads per day you would like to run...

"Participating Advertisers" agree to promote the Embroidery Daily News website on any website or Yahoo group or other site or network that they are promoting via our service.
To clarify this...
if you use EDN to advertise your website then you must have our EDN logo on your website with a link back to our website.
If you use EDN to advertise your Yahoo group, then you must have our EDN logo on your Yahoo group with a link back to our website.
If you use EDN to advertise your blog, then you must have our EDN logo on your blog with a link back to our website.
You can use any of our different sized logos for the link back, but in order to qualify as a participating advertiser, the logo must be in a "good position" on your site. A "good position" sure is difficult to define since there are billions of ways to set up a website, but the INTENT is that folks visiting your site would know that you advertise in the Embroidery Daily News without having to scroll to the bottom of some remote page where hardly anyone ever goes. :-)
If you don't want to place our logo and link on your site in a prominent position, you can still advertise with us as a non-participating advertiser. The price is higher, but that is an option.

As a "participating advertiser", you are "participating" in building the number of followers who see your ads (and those of the other advertisers) on the Embroidery Daily News. For that reason, your ad cost starts at the substantially discounted price of just $5 per month. So in a 30 day month, you could place as many as 30 ads (1 ad per day) for a total cost of just $5 for the whole month.
I have set up several common advertising levels already such as 1 per day ($5/mo), 2 per day ($10/mo), etc., but if you don't see the number you want to choose, please call me (Larry @ 847-946-1342) and I will create the correct level for you.
Your ads can point to any website you own, so long as you don't place more ads per day than you have paid for advertising or violate our terms-of-use agreement, AND as long as ALL the websites you advertise for include our EDN logo in a prominent place on their site if you are paying the "participating" rate.
If you want to advertise for a group you can do that, just buy the right advertising level to cover the number of ads for your group. So for example, if you belong to a group of 7 digitizers that want to band together to advertise each person's site once a week, you can do that, as long as the number of ads per day does not exceed your selected level AND as long as ALL the websites you advertise for include our EDN logo in a prominent place on their site.
Non-Participating Advertisers
($50/mo for 1 ad per day...)

"Non-Participating Advertisers" do not need to promote EDN on their own Yahoo groups, emails, or website. Non-Participating Advertisers pay $50 per month for the number of ads they want to post per day.
In other words, a Non-Participating Advertiser that wants to run 1 ad per day on EDN would pay $50 per month. As another example, a Non-Participating Advertiser that wants to run 12 ads per day would pay $600 per month.
As a "non-participating advertiser", you are not "participating" in building the number of followers who see your ads (and those of the other advertisers) on the Embroidery Daily News. For that reason, your ad cost starts at a still very affordable (but not discounted) $50 per month.

Automatic Monthly Renewals
Advertising fees are paid monthly and fees are scheduled to be automatically deducted once per month on your joining anniversary date. Either "Participating Advertiser" or "Non-Participating Advertiser" status can be discontinued at any time by the advertiser with an easy-to-use, self-service login provided for controlling your own account. If you need assistance with your account, please call Larry @ 847-946-1342. Advertisers fees are non-refundable.
Re-Instatement Fee... $50
There is a re-setup fee of $50 for re-creating an advertising account. So if you are an advertiser then drop out, the $50 fee would apply to set up your account the second time. (We are waiving the setup fee initially.)
HINT: If you are running multiple ads per day and plan to discontinue advertising for a few months, you can change your account from multiple ads per day to the minium level (ie: 1 per day) and avoid a setup fee when you are ready to return. You can easily control your own advertising level by by logging into your account control panel here.
Your advertising membership will normally renew automatically via Paypal. We will not notify you ahead of time that your renewal is coming up. You can login to Paypal and check your next renewal date by clicking on "My Subscriptions" in Paypal. You can also print out receipts for payments there and you can terminate your subscription there.
