Ina's Thread Catcher
This thread catcher has been a very popular project with the Panhandle UnRavelers group. When we posted pictures in the www.ArtisticThreadWorks.com photo gallery there were many requests for how to make the project, so it's now offered here in instant download format!
The finished project is a combination thread catcher AND pin cushion that holds itself onto the sewing table. Here's a picture of 5 of the finished thread catchers...
Since this is a project I have been teaching in small classes or one-on-one for quite a while, I didn't have any written instructions to post for it. With all the requests, I took a day to write up how to make them and then took a bunch of pictures showing every step along the way. I put them together into a Word document and converted that into a PDF so everyone can read it, even if they don't have Microsoft Word!
